It's away from the main shopping belt, which keeps it clear of the traffic jams and hectic area, while still being convenient for getting around. The metro is close, and there's a nice ancient town nearby. The hotel is very new and clean, and the staff are helpful.

The kids loved the cute family room. The hotel is clean and new, and breakfast is simple but kid-friendly.

The room was clean and the bed was soft. There's lots of choice at breakfast, but the chef-cooked wonton or noodle broth was always too salty for me. Ask for a little less salt or add extra water. Free washing machines and dryers are on the 7th floor beside the breakfast area; set the time and come back to collect your laundry. I'd skip the jug of pre-made black coffee and use the coffee machine instead. The location is ideal, about a 5-minute walk to Shijingpo metro station on the red line, which goes straight to the city centre. Googlemaps may not find this station, so do your reseach first. Ciqikou, Ciqikou Ancient Town is only a 25-minute walk south of the hotel.
