Holiday Inn Express Chongqing University Town

The restaurant and lobby staff were very nice. A nice hotel.

The service was professional and nice.

There’s no refrigerator in the room. The shower stall also won’t close properly, and even after a plumber was hired, it still leaks during showers.

The bed was comfortable, the lighting was enough, and the facilities were decent. But room cleanliness needs work. My mirror and carpet clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly, and there was chili on the electric kettle spout because someone had used it to cook hot pot. Food came from Country Style Chicken. It was very oily and salty, and the side dishes varied in quality. Whether there was enough to eat seemed to depend on luck. Some rooms had central air conditioning, but to avoid cross-infection, AC wasn’t available in those rooms, so getting a room with it was also down to luck. The internet was really slow and hurt my work efficiency.
