Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Chongqing Nanan by IHG

There are a few shops nearby, including a Lawson, pharmacies, and small restaurants. The room was a good size and had all the necessary amenities, and the hotel was nice and comfortable. Breakfast included a range of local dishes to try.

The cafe supervisor wasn’t friendly or helpful.

The coffee machines took a long time, sometimes more than five minutes. It would be smoother if the hotel made coffee in a pot for guests to pour themselves. Breakfast itself was quite nice, with lots of fruit and hot buffet food. But we saw an unfair incident: two friends were eating when a staff member cleaning their table dropped a china spoon. The staff member then asked our friends to pay for it. It wasn’t their fault, and guests shouldn’t have to compensate for this. I’m writing so management knows this wasn’t right. We stayed two nights at Chongqing Holiday Inn & Suites Nanan. There were no chairs in the lobby when we arrived. The room was nice, with good towels and amenities, and there was a laundry room with free washing powder and softener. Wi-Fi was advertised as free, but access was terrible. We couldn’t even download photos or maps, and could only use WeChat or WhatsApp.

The room was a standard size with a simple layout and no cabinet, so it worked well for a business trip or short stay. It was our first hotel after arriving in Chongqing. Malls, shops, and places to eat surround it, making it convenient to get around.
