Home2 Suites by Hilton Chongqing Jiangbei

The staff’s kindness is what made this a five-star stay for me, even though the hotel has some problems. When my Taobao parcel was delayed, the manager called the courier and helped get it to me the next day. They also brought me ice whenever I asked for some for my morning coffee. The room felt more like an apartment, with a sofa, a coffee capsule machine, and the things I needed. The gym is small but has the essentials. The food was just so-so, though I appreciated having fried eggs for my daily protein. The location works well too, close to a metro station and a mall. There were a couple of letdowns. The bidet toilet had such poor water pressure that I couldn’t use it, and the Wi-Fi connected but had no internet access unless you had a Chinese phone or tablet. I hope they improve the toilet. Still, the hospitality made up for a lot, and I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Chongqing. Thanks!
