The team at Home2 Suites in Chongqing were a huge help throughout my business trip, and I’d gladly stay there again for work or a holiday. It was clean, quiet, professional, comfortable, and in a great location for my airport-based trip. Cici at reception even came through when I accidentally sent 800RMB in my shorts pocket to the laundry. She tracked down the laundry and returned the money, which was still there. Such a relief.

Great value, and I’d recommend it. The room was big, with a king bed, kitchen, living room, shower, two WCs, and two large TVs. Even the curtains worked by switches. Really nice hotel.

I booked this place near the airport since I was leaving Chongqing early and needed somewhere to unpack. I checked in with a Diamond Card and got a fruit plate and an upgrade to a spacious suite. It had an adjustable sofa bed, microwave, and basic cutlery. I enjoyed the set dinner at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. The portions were generous, and the food was tasty without being too salty or oily. The restaurant looked very nice and is overseen by a renowned chef. They also gave me a Chongqing spicy hot pot base for free. The dining area at breakfast was roomy, so it never felt cramped, and the breakfast itself was quite good. There are two large TVs with screen sharing, but it only works with local media, not Google or YT. They also have lots of fitness videos, though I’m not sure how to access them after checking out. Airport transfers are available if you reserve a day ahead, and the terminal is about 15 minutes away. Handy for late arrivals or early flights. The Google Maps pin is currently in the wrong place.

Stayed in room 1002 on June 23, 2024. The hotel is very close to the airport, and I found it clean, bright, and comfortable, with excellent service. The bed, pillows, and comforter were just the right height and felt really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too, and the area around the hotel was clean and pleasant. Worth a visit! 👍
