Ramada Plaza Chongqing West

The room was big, and breakfast was really good, with lots of Chinese and Western dishes to choose from.

The hotel, Dazu, is right in the heart of the city, with a convenience store a short walk away. It's a large building with spacious rooms. The rooms and hotel are a little old, but they were still clean. Staff know some basic English. My room had everything I needed: a toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, hairdryer, soap, shampoo, shower cap and iron. The bed was wide and comfortably soft. We were on a tour, so we ate both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Dinner was a Chinese banquet served as a set meal. I didn't take pictures. We had stir-fried vegetables, meat and vegetable dishes, and fish in mala sauce. Breakfast was Chinese style too, with stir-fried vegetables, dim sum, noodles, bread, fruit and drinks. We thought the food was very good.

Breakfast was pretty good. The room was clean and spacious, and there was plenty of hot water, so everything worked out fine. It seems like a good hotel in Dazu.

The food at dinner was a full meal, almost like part of a tour package, served before we even reached our room. There was omelet, fried fish, stir-fried vegetables, fried shrimp, roast duck, tofu and salad. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had so much to choose from that you'd be full until the afternoon. I'd recommend staying here if you get the chance.
