I couldn't have been happier with this stay. The service was spot on, attentive without hovering, and the rooms had such careful, beautiful details, which isn't something I take for granted in China. The views are incredible and the location is hard to beat. Honestly, this was the most pleasant surprise I've ever had at a hotel. It feels like it should be a Park Hyatt instead of an Unbound.

The staff were really friendly, and the breakfast buffet had a huge selection, including plenty of local dishes. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. It was also an easy walk to either Jiefangbei or Hongyadong.

Being in the World Financial Center means the rooms start on Level 58, and the skyline and river views over Chongqing are breathtaking. We stayed in the spacious, cozy 270-degree panoramic suite, with thoughtful extras like a Nespresso coffee machine and Dyson hairdryer. The bathtub overlooking the view was the best part after a day out. The gym has a great view too. You can walk to Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and the Yangtze River Cableway, and take a direct train to Liziba Station, as seen in The First Frost (Cdrama). Breakfast was great, with lots to choose from, including a live noodle station serving Chongqing noodles.
