The views from the room, lobby, and restaurant are incredible, though Chongqing can get very foggy. The gym and sauna are solid, and breakfast is an extensive buffet with eggs made to order and plenty of Western and Asian options. It's well located and feels like good value. The design and atmosphere are fine, with standard hotel chain vibes, but the spacious rooms and views make it feel higher end.

Great value for the price. The service was perfect, and the rooms have phenomenal views of Chongqing. The location is top tier, right in the middle of the city and within easy walking distance of everything. Breakfast and Club access both offer a huge range of food and drinks.

The staff were all super friendly, spoke great English, and made every request feel easy. The rooms are on floors 40-50, with plenty of lifts, and housekeeping cleaned ours twice a day. We had a great room, an excellent king-size bed, and soft, fresh linen. Breakfast is served in a large, high-end dining room with lots of choices, enough to set you up for the day. It's about a five-minute walk to the metro, and the main streets and shopping are very close. The main bridge to the other side is an easy five-minute taxi ride, and it's also on the way to the airport. A taxi to the airport might be around $15. Exceptional hotel and value, highly recommended.

Our room had a lovely city view when it wasn't foggy, and we came away with such nice memories of our stay at Westin Chongqing. We chose it after reading the great online reviews, and visited Chongqing two weeks ago. The AC was set to heating because of the weather, so we asked the hotel to let us open the windows. There seemed to be too few staff during happy hour at the Westin Club, but they kept a great attitude while handling the guests' needs.

The room was fairly spacious, with a separate WC and shower, a nice sofa, and a B&O TV. The mini bar was well stocked with wine and soft drinks, and there were in-room coffee and tea facilities, including the fancy Nespresso. You can ask ahead for your choice of pillow, from feather to latex or memory foam. The lobby is on level 51, and my room on lvl 41 faced the river. You can see the river, though clouds reduce visibility. Breakfast is at seasonal tastes on Level 50, with a wide choice of American and local food. Try the local Chong Ching dishes, including spicy noodles with crunch, spicy wanton, and hot and sour glass noodles. It's a great location, about an 8 mins stroll from Liberation square aka Jia Fang Bei, an iconic place in Chong qing. You can also walk to the food street at Bai Yi.
