It took us a while to find the hostel since there are no English signs, and we walked past it. From Linjiangmen Station, use Exit 2 and take the escalator up. When you reach a steamed bun shop, turn left and keep walking to the pharmacy, which is Exit 2b. Go up there and you'll see the pharmacy on your left. Look up for building number 69; beside it is the Chinese name with a small number 8. That's the hotel's name on the 8th floor. Go inside and take the elevator on the far left up to the hostel. We had a twin room facing the Kuai Qinglou building across the way. It was clean, the water pressure was strong, and at around 1,000 baht a night it was great value. The staff were lovely and friendly, using Google Translate to communicate with us the whole time. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Chopsticks Building or Jiangfangbei.

The location was excellent, and I liked having spacious common areas. The water flow was good and the air conditioning worked well, too. But the twin room was extremely uncomfortable because I could feel the springs, and I had expected English communication since it seemed many foreigners were staying there. That wasn't available at all.
