When we came back to Chongqing on days 3 to 5, the daytime receptionist was much warmer and more welcoming. The room then was fantastic, smoke-free, bright, airy, and spacious. That was a huge change from our first night. We arrived after 11 PM, got poor service at reception, and were assigned a tiny, very smelly room. We were really dissatisfied.

On my first day in Chongqing, the hot water system wasn't working properly, and nobody told me. They still insisted on checking me in. Don't fall for this, what a terrible business.
