Chun Shu mu yun linhai boutique minsu (Dali caicun wharf branch)

It's a lovely way to spend the day, with cafes and places to eat all along the route. You can rent bicycles or e-bikes, and the lake track is well built. There aren't many toilets along the way, though.

The view is so beautiful, and when I visited it wasn't too crowded or noisy. I really like the atmosphere here. Highly recommend it.

There's one good viewpoint, on the only stretch reaching out over the lake that isn't swarming with tiny fruit flies. The flies are everywhere else. The reviewer blames the still, dark grey water around the whole village, saying it looks worse than swamp water and is disgusting.
