We'd happily stay here again. The owner was lovely and spoke English, and his father gave us a really warm welcome when we arrived. Their fluffy, snow-white Chinese dog was as sweet as could be, and we loved spending time with him. The inn is a beautiful traditional Chinese house, or at least inspired by one, with lovely architecture inside and out. Our room had two beds and a private toilet. The mattresses may have been the best we had on our trip around the world. Water was available in the downstairs kitchen, and there's a very nice glass-walled terrace overlooking the old city of Dali.
