Dali Erhai Ai Yuan Xuan Inn Sea View Hostel

The location was a bit hard to find because Baidu maps weren’t accurate. Get Lao Xie's number ahead of time so you can arrive smoothly. Even with that hassle, this is a thoughtful place to stay if you want to get away from the commercial nightmare of the Ancient City. Renting a scooter is easy and makes it enjoyable to explore the lake and nearby villages. The place felt like home and was spotless. We liked relaxing on the balcony, in the garden, and in the kitchen, which has a beautiful mountain view. Our rooms were tidied every day, and they kept replenishing things like instant coffee and toilet paper. The owner, Lao Xie, went out of his way to make us comfortable. When we arrived late the first night, he cooked dinner so we wouldn’t have to drive out to find food. We also enjoyed chatting with him. He’s open-minded and loves to read. Lao Xie，thank you！hope we meet again！ Ivan and Jun
