The rooms are big, and there’s an easy view from the roof at sunrise. The photos and video I attached were taken up there. You can get onto the roof without much trouble. The hotel is well placed near the old town center and its many attractions, with nearby shops renting costumes and offering photographers. Getting there by vehicle wasn’t easy. We got off the bus and walked about 10 minutes, though our tour had arranged for hotel staff to bring our luggage straight to the room. I couldn’t find a fridge, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The hotel was well maintained and the room was good. It’s by the Ancient Town, and about a 10-minute walk from the commercial walking streets.

The location is perfect. Your loved one can shop late, and you can simply walk back to the hotel without worrying about finding a cab. It’s also close to the popular DA Li Shang Shan Tea House. Recommended.

Just a minute’s walk from Dali Old Town, this is an excellent hotel. The sky deck looks out over the Old Town, and the traditional noodles at the restaurant are delicious.

We loved our one-night stay at this great hotel in the ancient town of Long Jing in Dali, right beside all the shops and restaurants. We were traveling around the Yunnan region.
