Dalian University of Technology International Convention Center

Breakfast was a letdown, with dishes that were much too salty. Dinner was alright, though, and they had fresh seafood. You could even watch people waterskiing 😂😂😂 The place itself looked elegant and clean, but the elevator was extremely old. Seeing that alongside the rest of the building felt like a mismatch. I can't really call the service good or bad. On my first day, things kept going missing, and I couldn't tell what the staff were doing. Supplies hadn't all been replenished, so I had to call and ask for more. The front desk staff were very polite on the phone, but the housekeeping staff who came later were anything but. They were quick, but very abrupt and cold. It was unbelievable. It feels like in mainland China you can't expect anything normal here. They're all sick, used to abnormal things, and even think normal things are strange.
