Hilton Dalian Golden Pebble Beach Resort

I was there on a business trip, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with sea views and large, clean, very comfortable rooms. I enjoyed breakfast too. The nearest shopping mall is about a 40-minute drive away, but I still think it’s worth staying a bit outside the city center. If you go to Dalian, I really recommend trying this hotel.

The food is excellent, and the hotel’s seaside location means you can see the sea from almost every room. The interior and overall design are lovely, and the hospitality was great. Reception, restaurant, housekeeping, and security staff were all extremely kind and helpful. A very sweet young woman at the gym and swimming pool reception helped me when I wanted to work out at 5:30 a.m. She opened the gym for me and walked with me to the entrance, even though it has 24-hour backdoor access.

I toured the property during its soft opening, though I haven’t stayed there. The lobby has a bar, coffee bar, cigar room, and great views of the Jinshitan coast. The rooms are well appointed and have a comfortable, Western feel. There’s also a gorgeous indoor pool, a well-equipped cardio and weights room, a yoga studio, massage spa facilities, and a nicely done kids area. The property has several restaurants and large meeting spaces. For business travelers working in the DDA area, it’s an excellent alternative to staying farther away in downtown Dalian or Kai Fa Qu. I wish I’d had the chance to stay.

I went there for a wedding, and what a wonderful experience. The ambience is amazing and makes it a great place for photos. The rooms were clean and amazing too. It’s far from the city, but still worth a visit.
