What stood out most to us was how kind the staff were. Eric was especially thoughtful, and my father was really touched by his kindness. The location and facilities were just right for our family, and the trip made us very happy. We hope the hotel keeps doing well. 😊

The AC and heater were centrally controlled, so getting the temperature where I wanted it was tricky. Still, the staff were friendly, the breakfast had a great selection, and the hotel itself was great.

At breakfast each morning, the room felt more like a crowded marketplace than a hotel restaurant. It was noisy, with both guests and staff adding to it. I’ve stayed at InterContinental hotels in several countries, but on this recent visit to Dalian, China, I also found it almost impossible to communicate with the staff in English. Maybe I expected too much from the service.

The restaurant terrace had a fantastic view over the city, and the food options covered both local and international dishes at attractive prices. Staff were friendly and supportive around the clock. The hotel feels luxurious, with spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, and a well-designed desk for working. The bathroom was clean, roomy, and stocked with amenities that were renewed daily. The fitness centre is very well equipped, more like a professional gym.

Ellie was so helpful and nice about arranging an early check-in, and Jing checked in with us for feedback. The room was huge, with a big comfortable bed, and I really liked the swimming pool. I like this hotel and will definitely book again.
