Riyueming Select Hotel

The tram stop was nearby, so I took the tram a couple of times just for fun. Taxis were so cheap that it barely made a difference. The hotel was good value, with nice, clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious both days, and the second day was even better, less spicy and more filling. There was no afternoon tea, though. I enjoyed the evening cocktails one day, and had a wonderful trip.

I had a great time in Dalian, and the hotel manager deserves a lot of the credit. After I left my phone in a taxi, I managed to call it, but couldn't speak Chinese when the driver answered. The manager quickly contacted the driver for me, and I got my phone back safely. Their kindness let me carry on with my trip without worrying. I brought a gift the next day to say thanks, but the manager smiled and said they were just doing what was right. I’m truly grateful for the thoughtful service and would definitely come back.
