I stayed in September 2023, around the time of Japan’s contaminated water issue. Another hotel turned me away despite my booking, and a different one refused me because I was of another nationality. I felt so relieved when a woman on staff here, who understood a little Japanese, told me Japanese guests were welcome. It was close to the Mid-Autumn Festival, but I could still stay for 2000 yen. The room was fine for the price. The kettle boiled water quickly, and they provided two bottles of water. There were no tissues, and there was an odd smell by the shower, but that’s understandable for what I paid. The stay helped me recover both physically and mentally. I’d use this place again if I get the chance.
