The noise was awful, both from outside and between rooms, and all the rooms seem to have poor soundproofing. We asked to switch rooms and were given one with a wet floor. How was that room considered ready for guests? When we asked to move again, I was trying to get food first because I needed to take medicine with it, but staff said I had to change rooms right away. It felt like my health didn’t matter. They called it an upgrade, as if that fixed everything. Staff spoke no English, so I had to use a translator. There are plenty more issues I could mention. I invite the general manager to meet me at breakfast tomorrow, Monday, at 6:50am.

The hotel was reasonable and breakfast was acceptable, but the air conditioning was set to a ridiculous temperature. By 3am the room had reached 29C, so I turned it off and opened the window. Construction was going on outside around the clock and completely disrupted our sleep. The neighborhood itself was lively, with lots happening, and the streets are fairly walkable, especially the bridge.

The rooms feel stylish and comfortable, and the area around them is lively.
