Weidu International Hotel Datong

A late-night snack brought by Aunt Cui Xiurong was a lovely touch. She asked about our dietary preferences and paid close attention to the little things. Ms. Yan at reception was always smiling and efficient, and she proactively pointed us toward nearby restaurants and attractions. Supervisor Jing Guohui responded quickly when I needed something and thoughtfully added amenities to our room. All three made us feel cared for during our stay at Weidu International Hotel in Datong City. From check-in through check-out, the service felt up to five-star standards and exceeded my expectations. The professional, warm team made the visit feel welcoming. Thanks again to the staff at Weidu International Hotel, especially Ms. Yan, Supervisor Jing Guohui, and Aunt Cui Xiurong. I’ll make this my first choice on my next trip to Datong.

Before we checked in, I contacted the hotel and Ms. Yan at the front desk was attentive and took care of all my needs. During our stay, Ms. Jing Guohui, the floor manager, was helpful and attentive too, and Ms. Cui Xiurong looked after us with great kindness. Thank you to all of them and to the hotel.

The high-floor view was beautiful, and the restaurant food was excellent. Ms. Yan, the head waitress at the Weidu Hotel in Datong, Shanxi, was very helpful. Housekeeping bringing late-night snacks was a wonderful touch. I’d highly recommend the Weidu International Hotel.

The first-floor buffet food was delicious, but the low sofa-style seats meant leaning forward to eat, which really affected the experience. The instructions for ordering the pre-cooked food were confusing, and the clips at the front were hard to work out. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The towels, though, were so soft they didn’t absorb well. The buffet setup needs improvement.
