I won't be staying here again. The room came with regular pillows, so I called to ask for more and was told I could only have two extra. I wish I'd known that before booking. It's those little details that can separate a good hotel from a great one. If you expect a little extra comfort, the Wyndham may not be for you.

The breakfast buffet was a highlight for me, with plenty of local and international choices. I also found the hotel's amenities top-notch, and Wanda Malll was nearby, which made the location really convenient. My room was luxurious and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved my stay at a Wyndham plaza hotel in Datong and would recommend it to anyone visiting Datong.

We had a good stay overall during our two nights here, while visiting yungang cave, about 45 minutes away. The hotel is fairly new, and the room was spacious and clean. In late April it felt warm, though, and when we checked, we were told there was no air conditioning. We ended up opening a window to get some cooler air.

Big room, modern and luxurious decor, and no cigarette smell at all. Excellent!
