Deqin Meri Poodom hotel

Those snow-covered mountain views and the architecture make a strong case for staying here. The rooms look great and have high-end amenities, but using them was another story. The bathroom was freezing, with no heater, so a shower felt like risking a cold. The blankets were stifling, and I couldn’t sleep comfortably either night. At this altitude, a hotel should help you rest, and the comfort here really let the stay down. Service was mediocre too. For these prices, better staff training and coordination would matter more than apologies. The restaurant kept getting orders wrong. A self-service app might make ordering easier for guests and staff. It’s a shame, because the location and facilities could have made this an exceptional hotel.
