KFC and Walmart are in the same mall, which makes shopping easy. The hotel entrance is actually along the mall’s side, and the elevators take you up to the 5th floor lobby. The rooms start on level 6, and you need to tap your room card at the elevator sensor before it will go up, so security felt good. The rooms were very clean and up to a modern standard. Staff speak only a little English, but they use a Chinese online translation service, and communication works out okay. I liked staying here. People in China were extremely friendly toward smiling foreigners, so I assumed the best of their intentions and was treated very well.

In Guanghan, I don’t think you’ll find a better hotel, which is why I gave it five stars. The rooms are clean, especially on the non-smoking floors, and the service is proper. Breakfast has some international options. Having a shopping mall, cinema, and Walmart in the same building is another plus.

Plenty of nearby places to go, and the next-door shopping mall has lots of good food options. The hotel is good, though not all the staff speak English.

Staying in the shopping center is handy, with AddLove Deli, KFC, and restaurants across the street. There are Mastercard and Visa ATMs by the corner entrance. The hotel has separate smoking and non-smoking floors, plus laundry service and a gym.
