Dongguan Tianyu Hotel

I stayed for seven days last week. The staff were very helpful, especially when I needed help getting a Didi (local Grab/Uber). At check-in, ask for a nonsmoking room if you don't smoke. I was first given a room for smokers, which I think is common at a lot of hotels. The same thing happened to me at a hotel in Shenzhen. The price is reasonable, and there are shops, malls, a party place, and several banks nearby: Bank of China, Construction Bank, Merchant Bank, and one more whose name I've forgotten. The hotel itself is a bit old, and the reception counter is cluttered. Breakfast is the usual Chinese food. I opened the curtains to get some sunshine in. The bathroom was so-so, with a shower that had hot and cold water.

The room was clean, new, spacious, and fully equipped. The location was perfect too. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

I liked Hotel Tianyu. It's a very good hotel, really clean, with good food to eat.

So far, things have been good.
