Goodview Hot Spring Hotel Tangxia

The pool is accessible right from the rooms, which is a really unusual feature. We stayed three nights at Good View Hotel Tangxia on a trip that combined business and leisure. The hotel sits in a lush garden full of trees, next to a lake. Service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location worked well for business meetings in Dongguan and Shenzhen. Breakfast and dinner were good too. We can recommend the hotel without hesitation.

It's a huge hotel with lovely views, set beside a lake and surrounded by large tropical gardens, away from the city's traffic and crowds. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. There are pretty paths through the garden for walks. I highly recommend the restaurant, the buffets, and room dining. I was on a business trip, so I didn't have enough time to try many of the amenities, including the spa, gym, and water park.

I've been here about 10 times, so I know the hotel well. The western food is really good, and the buffet works well for a traditional Chinese feast. They change what's on display to match the festival at the time. The gym equipment is good, and the pool area is great, especially the outdoor pool where you can swim around the hotel. The downstairs bar isn't what it used to be. Now it's people squealing through songs and the same performance every night. Rooms are expensive, but the beds are comfortable and the WiFi connection is good.

Walking around the grounds is gorgeous. It feels like a tropical paradise, and the views from the part of the hotel where I'm staying are great. The hotel is very large and really nice. I haven't had time to try many amenities yet, but there's a spa, gym, water park, lovely walking paths, and probably more to do. I'd definitely recommend it.
