Good hotel in a prime location.

The room was comfortable, and the place had a nice feel overall. The fridge was on the small side, though. I was pleasantly surprised by the little touches: the curtains open by themselves when you insert your card, and there’s music you can control from a panel by the bathroom sink. Even stepping into the shower area seemed to set music playing automatically, which happened both times I tried it. They left two bottles of water and a breakfast voucher. The breakfast choices were limited, but there were vegetables, noodles, and soy milk, which I like. I’m happy enough with free food, so that suited me. I usually book budget places and don’t expect much, but this one felt quite different from the other hotels I’ve stayed in. I’d stay again if I got the chance.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were especially friendly and attentive. They even helped us call a taxi. I picked this place because I wanted to try lychees in Dongguan, and the location worked well, with Humen Pedestrian Street, shops, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The price was reasonable, and getting around was convenient.
