Pullman Dongguan Changan

The restaurant was lovely, with nice food and a comfortable dining area. It’s a pleasant hotel in a good spot, near the local town and shops. It’s a shame the rooms don’t have balconies.

The grounds are lovely, and the hotel has one of the best pools around, surrounded by lush subtropical forest. Rooms are large, with big bathrooms and great balconies. Breakfast could use more variety. Some days there was no orange juice, only mango, grapefruit, and pineapple, and on other days there was no butter. My group left early, and I’d told them I was staying behind because I was heading in a different direction and hoped to sleep in. Instead, at 6:18 am, three people were standing in my room talking in Chinese and waking me up. Eventually they brought someone who spoke English to tell me the group had left. My sleep was ruined, thanks a lot.

I booked this comfortable hotel for a business trip and spent four nights there. The food was excellent at every time of day, with a spectacular international breakfast as well as great lunches and dinners. There’s karaoke and an evening pub, and every kind of service is available. It was a very good experience.

It has all the amenities and services you’d expect from a five-star hotel. Noise insulation between the rooms and hallway is good. P
