Shi Long Hotel is surprisingly handy, right in the middle of town. There are plenty of local places to eat, and Japanese restaurants too if you walk a little. Zhongshan Park is close by for a nice morning stroll. The mall on the first floor has beer, which is convenient. It’s pretty standard overall. I used to have breakfast at the first-floor restaurant, but lately I’ve been getting tickets to eat at McDonald's instead. The shower pressure was a bit weak, though there was hot water, so it was okay.

At about 200 yuan a night, I think it’s good value. There’s a free Wi-Fi router in each room, but switching off any bedside light switch cuts the connection. I didn’t realize that and thought the router was broken.

The restaurant food is delicious, and they even have massages. The hotel feels new and comfortable, with great facilities.

It has a rather old-fashioned feel… ´･ᴗ･`

Winter gets cold here. You can borrow a heater from the front desk.
