Ramada Plaza Dongxing City Center

The hotel has a prime location and spacious rooms. At the tour dinner, we had “milk hotpot” with plenty of dishes. The beef came in thin slices and didn't change color after sitting in the hotpot.

The rooms are roomy and the hotel has plenty of facilities, plus a delivery robot brings orders right to the door. It’s clean and looks nice, and the location is close to the Vietnam-China border crossing. Ramada Hotel is the biggest five-star hotel in Dongxing, China. The observation deck on the 35th floor gives you a city view, but there’s an entrance fee. The gym and pool are on the 7th floor, and breakfast is served on the 32nd. The food was just alright, nothing special. One inconvenience: there’s no bidet spray in the bathroom, and breakfast was only acceptable.

Getting around is quick since the hotel is near the city center and market. The rooms are spacious, attractive, fairly new, and well equipped, and the Chinese-style breakfast buffet is decent. The 5-star Ramada Plaza Hotel stands beside the Vietnam-China Friendship Bridge, in a building shared with Wyndham Hotel, which occupies the five floors below Ramada Plaza. Check-in is up on the 7th floor, where the counter feels cramped and tiny, with nowhere to sit and no welcome drink. The overloaded elevators are a real problem, with long waits.
