The staff were helpful and friendly, and I got upgraded to a suite with an amazing view. The room design is distinctive and quite nice. Check-in is on floor 50, while the ground floor is only the arrival lobby. After checking in, you have to take a different lift down to your room. Probably worth more than four stars, though it’s not quite perfect.

Laundry is very expensive. The pool has so much chlorine that you need a cap and goggles, and they charge you for those too.

I stayed here for both phase 1 and phase 2 of the Canton Fair. It’s a good hotel to stay at, though halal options are limited and halal restaurants are quite far away.

I had a premium corner room for 8 nights. The shuttle to Canton Fair takes about 1 hour, but for the price, this is definitely the best value hotel I’ve seen.

The room has a good view and a large bathroom, and the building is modern with a good restaurant. You have to change lifts to get to your room, though, and the air conditioning in reception isn’t quite cool enough. We shared our feedback with the reception staff.
