The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the location worked well for me.

This location might work for furniture buyers, but I wouldn’t choose it for a leisure trip. It’s a long way from the commercial and tourist spots. Getting a mouldy mini fridge replaced took a lot of back and forth with the staff I dealt with. The supervisor wasn’t helpful with directions, even though we were speaking Chinese. When I asked about the metro, she seemed unfamiliar with it and just hit a blank wall. Her answer was, "nobody takes the metro, everyone takes the taxi". For trips under 10 km, in my understanding and experience, a taxi may be feasible. Private hire cars through the China apps are generally cheaper, so try to avoid regular taxis. For longer trips, point-to-point transport may be more convenient and worth the fare, especially where the metro may not get you there.

The rooms are quite nice, clean, and look new, and the service was good. I’d recommend the hotel for a business trip. If you can’t find somewhere to eat nearby in the evening, the hotel restaurant on the 3rd floor is an option. The food tastes good. None of the staff here speak English, though, so you’ll need a translation app to communicate.

We spent 14 days here and didn’t have a single complaint. The location, service, and rooms were all great. Free coffee, water, and snacks were the icing on the cake.
