Foshan Park Lane Hotel (Qiandeng Lake)

I don't trust the reviews for this place. Trip doesn't let you post a review if you've filed a complaint or been reimbursed, and that's what happened to me. The property felt old with only minimal renovations, and the photos looked photoshopped. Past reception, the hallways were grimly dark and dim. The bed wasn't memory foam, just a hard box with no bounce or give. My door wouldn't lock and kept beeping. I went downstairs right away to check out, but at first they wouldn't let me and tried to persuade me to stay. A kid, maybe 17, in an oversized, wrinkled old bellman's uniform took me to a room on another floor that was slightly better. But the same older man from my first floor came out of a side door when we got there, while the maintenance man disappeared behind a draped-off part of the hallway. I raced back to the front desk and called a car service to another hotel. Reimbursement or not, I was leaving. The place felt unsafe and like a coverup for something else, and I absolutely don't recommend it.

A cool, clean and convenient place to stay, with great value for money. The breakfast was just awesome. I'd recommend it for all ages. Feeling grateful.

My stay at parklane Hotel in Foshan was remarkable. The room was very clean, especially the comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spotless too. The front desk team were very cooperative, particularly Miss Lucy and Mr Tang. I'd highly recommend parklane Hotel in Foshan for their service and give them five stars.

For a visit to the Foshan furniture market, this is a great place to stay. It's conveniently located, and there's also a good Indian restaurant nearby. I'd recommend it to shoppers and business travelers.
