Intercontinental Hotels Foshan New City

It works, but doesn't feel like good value for the price. Even at the highest room rates, the amenities are basic, and the mini fridge isn't complimentary. The staff's approach felt very casual, and the general atmosphere wasn't very professional. The hotel seems popular for local weddings, and it can get noisy. People were smoking in the lobby and even in the lifts. The lobby toilets also had a strong smoke smell and an unpleasant odour, which was disappointing. There are decent BBQ places and other dining options nearby. I didn't try the hotel's restaurant, so can't comment on it. The gym has the necessary equipment, and the pool is staffed during business hours.

The food was good, and the rooms are spacious. The location is really convenient, right next to the metro.

The buffet had lots of choices, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. My room was big, clean, and comfortable. Everything about the stay was really good, and I’d recommend the hotel.

The room was very comfortable. The toilet is in a separate room across from the bathroom, though, and it felt pretty claustrophobic. Maybe that’s the new style.
