Whenever I come to Shunde, I stay here. It has that home-like feel and the service has been excellent every time. I’ve been a Bonvoy Titanium member for years, and on this trip Gavin Zhao took especially good care of me. Well done, Gavin.

The rooms are comfortable, though the breakfast options don't change during the week. The laundry staff aren't always available.

My status got me a free upgrade to a suite. The room was great, and although the hotel is in a quiet area, there are coffee shops and restaurants across the road. There isn't a 7/11 or anything similar nearby. Breakfast was decent, and the fresh rice rolls were really good, even if the spread wasn't five-star quality. It gets busy around 9am. The club breakfast was very quiet, but the selection there was quite limited.

The staff were rude, and I was very disappointed with the service. My company books rooms regularly across this hotel group, with multiple hotels and many of our staff staying at them. Even though I had several rooms booked on higher floors here, as well as rooms booked at the same time in other group hotels, they refused club room access. For better service for western guests, stay at Foshan Marriott.

The rooms are spacious and the location in Shunde works well. It's a decent business hotel and good value for the price, though it does feel a little dated.
