Honestly, I was very disappointed, and my Chinese girlfriend was too. If I hadn't paid in advance, I would have cancelled when we arrived and gone somewhere else. She was told we could have walked in off the street and paid much less than $95 a night. This isn't a 4-star hotel in my view, more like 1 star at best. It's dated, the sort of Asian hotel that feels 25 to 30 years old, with a rock-hard bed, average air conditioning, and a very ordinary dining room. Breakfast had no Western-style food, and the staff don't speak English. It's in a busy, noisy, overpopulated part of a big Asian city, full of motorbikes, scooters, and cars. Not a hotel for Western-style tourists.
