Howard Johnson Changshan Lake Plaza Changle

Being right beside the mall is a real plus, and the price was good, but I had one of my worst hotel stays here and wouldn’t return. The hotel was very warm, with the air conditioning turned off during the day, even in the lobby, so there was nowhere to hang out. My room was warm when I came back in the evening, and the AC still wasn’t cold. One night I woke up sweating. The toilet was very dark, and when I asked about the lights above the sink, I was told they were just for aesthetics and the dimness was normal. We also had to call for another bath towel because only one person’s set had been provided. Breakfast was available, but overly simple with little choice. The location and price were good, but the stay overall wasn’t.
