The staff service was impeccable, and I loved their hospitality. Breakfast has a pretty good, wide spread, and the rooms are clean. The room didn’t have good ventilation, though, so at first I could smell a musty odor from the bathroom, probably because of the dated design. Overall, it was still a comfortable stay. We visited in winter when it was very cold, and the room service team provided a heater when we asked. Thankfully they had one and were willing to let us use it. We were traveling with our three-year-old, and the in-room bathtub came in handy. The location is above average, mainly because Didi made it convenient to get around; there isn’t much within easy walking distance. There’s a Chinese restaurant in the hotel that serves very good food, handy when you need to eat without going out. Meituan is convenient enough for getting almost anything, so that doesn’t affect things much.

The subway station is right nearby, and the location is great. The lobby is lovely, everything is very clean, and breakfast has a big selection. Staff are friendly and efficient. The only issue is that even though the rooms are non-smoking, some guests smoke and the cigarette smell gets into them.

We'd happily come back. The hotel was clean and smoke-free, and our room had a pillow menu, so we could request specific pillows from housekeeping. At lunch, the buffet covered Chinese, Western, and Japanese sushi, with a fresh seafood hotpot where you pick live seafood from the tank. The Chinese restaurant also served great Fukienese food, including complimentary vegetarian Buddha Jumping Wall soup and fried fish.

I've stayed at some excellent international hotels, and this is one of the best. The rooms and location were great, and the service stood out. They really go out of their way to pamper you.
