Leon from concierge was a big help getting all the luggage for our three rooms upstairs. At the front desk, Evelyn was patient during check-in, gave us sweet treats, suggested nearby local food, and reminded us about travel arrangements because a marathon was happening. Manager Cynthia sorted out our breakfast issue. It was a really nice trip.

The whole team in Fuzhou did a great job. Everyone was well trained, warm, and helpful throughout. If I could give the service 6 stars, I would!

The furniture could use an update; it felt dated despite the room being spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds. Still, I’d consider staying at Fuzhou Shangri-La again. Its central location made getting to attractions, shops, and restaurants easy, and the hotel was clean throughout. Housekeeping kept my room spotless, the common areas were clean too, and the toiletries, including shampoo and body wash, were good quality. Service was top-notch, and there was plenty of room to relax. My stay was mostly positive.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the location worked well for exploring the city. We really liked the rooms and the staff too.

Jasmine, the manager at Jiangnan Wok · Rong, made my birthday meal especially memorable. She handled my table reservation thoughtfully and brought real warmth to the experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and felt worthy of Michelin recognition. Earlier, a ventilation problem led Mr. Jacky Wang to promptly move us to a suite, which I appreciated. The hotel is central, with major sights nearby and a modern arcade full of restaurants next door, so there’s plenty to do even without sightseeing. I’m glad I chose Shangri-La Fuzhou for my birthday instead of an IHG hotel, where I could have received a complimentary upgrade. Here I felt truly valued, and the celebration was delightful.
