Radisson Blu Hotel Liuzhou

Along the Liujiang River in central Liuzhou, the Radisson Blu Hotel Liuzhou offers a wide range of facilities for both work and leisure. It has meeting rooms, large event spaces for conferences, banquets, and weddings, plus event planning support. There’s also a business center, gift shop, free guest parking, laundry and dry cleaning, a 24-hour front desk and concierge, and an airport shuttle on request. The rooms and suites are spacious and elegantly designed, with flat-screen TVs, fast Wi-Fi, plush bedding, rainfall showers, and luxury toiletries. Dining choices include several restaurants serving local specialties and international food, along with a stylish bar. Guests can also use the fitness center, indoor pool, and spa services. It’s a five-star hotel that suits business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and attentive service.

I spent about six weeks here while helping automate a nearby factory, and it had what I needed. The location makes it easy to get to parks, nightlife, and other restaurants by walking or taxi. The breakfast and on-site Chinese restaurant were both great, and the steaks upstairs were excellent too, though expensive even by U.S. standards. The rooms were excellent and the Wi-Fi was great. There was an issue with the large number of loyalty points I’d earned, as they tried to short me, but we got it resolved. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area.

Restaurants and shopping centers are within walking distance, and the location is good for a business stay. Breakfast was OK by China standards, though the rooms are starting to feel old. Staff speak limited English, so we had to communicate through a translation app on our phones.

There are restaurants, cinemas, and malls nearby in Liuzhou’s newly built CBD area. The hotel itself feels modern and cozy, though it’s a fair distance from the train station. Buses do go to the hotel. Service is up to standard but didn’t particularly inspire me. I’d recommend it if you have the money to spare.
