The receptionist on the morning shift last time was friendly, and that’s why I kept choosing Ponman when visiting Guangzhou. This time, though, the soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear the person in the next room snoring at night. At checkout in the morning, the receptionist was rude and unfriendly, gave me a sour look, and ignored my questions about the invoice. Maybe he’d been asleep and was woken by our doorbell, but his attitude was awful. You have to ring the bell at the counter on the 17th floor and wait for staff to open the door before checking in. It was the same process last time. The price, location, cleanliness, and facilities were good, and this was my second stay. I came back without hesitation after a great experience the year before, but I won't stay there again. There are plenty of other options in the same building.

The room felt luxurious, with high-end amenities and a large projection theater. Front desk service was excellent. Highly recommend it, though the map location should be listed as "Jie Deng Metropolis."

The location pin is wrong, as the apartments are in A mall, but the price is very reasonable. They have a kitchen without appliances and a washing machine. It’s a lively area, close to the metro, and you can walk to Beijing Street for shopping.
