We only stayed one night. We arrived exhausted at about 9:30 PM on December 24, 2023, and the front desk checked us in and took a 500 RMB deposit. The next morning, December 25, we had lunch, went to Lotus Hill, returned for our luggage, and checked out at 11:30 AM. We handed back the key card and left after staff said everything was fine. Then around 4 PM, a hotel staff member called to say a decorative vase in the bathroom had a crack and they would deduct its price from our deposit. We had been gone for hours, and nobody identified this during checkout. We arrived so late that we had neither the time nor energy to inspect every decoration. I hadn't even noticed the vase until they called. They blamed us for not checking it, which seems unprofessional and dishonest. Does that mean a leak or a crack in the floor would also be our fault if we didn't inspect every pane of glass and floorboard? These unreasonable, potentially fraudulent tactics deserve a strong protest. The amount of money is small, but they ruined my trip and left me feeling deeply wronged. I'll send the hotel's information to travel agencies and the media to seek justice.
