I arrived expecting a decent room, but was given an old, dated one that looked nothing like the photos. The furniture was worn, the walls looked dirty, and the place felt neglected. When I asked to switch rooms, the staff weren’t helpful. Service overall was extremely poor, and they acted like they didn’t care. For what I paid, it was a complete disappointment. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely won’t be back.

The staff were helpful and even got us into our room early. It’s a great budget hotel in central Guangzhou, close to Beijing Road and the big markets. I really enjoyed my stay. There’s an Indian restaurant inside called Little Papa, and Sharma ji is a five-minute walk away. I’d recommend this hotel.

I came across the hotel while registering for the canton fair. It has a classy, chic feel, and the place is huge and clean. Even though it was quite crowded, probably because it’s right downtown, it has the atmosphere of an old building.

The style is a bit outdated, but the rooms were clean and comfortable, which mattered most to us. The location is very good, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. A pleasant stay!

I’ve stayed here for the past 10 years, and it’s still my favourite hotel in Guangzhou, with the same quality maintained. It’s a five-star hotel with wonderful amenities. On normal days, the price is much cheaper, around 7k inr, while during canton fair it’s about 16k inr. They run a shuttle to the fair and offer high-quality snacks and drinks in the evening when we return. There’s an Indian restaurant in the hotel called little papaa, with many more Indian restaurants nearby. A good place to stay.
