MIMK was warm and attentive, and quick to respond to whatever I needed. The clean, tidy surroundings and comfortable decor helped me relax as soon as I walked in. Getting around was easy thanks to the convenient location and transport. I enjoyed my stay and thought it was good value.

There are lots of local food choices near the hotel, which is also close to the metro and the jade and gemstone market. The room isn’t spacious, but it has what you need: a large TV with local channels, strong water pressure, separate shower and toilet, hair dryer, and refrigerator. The room was fairly clean, although the toilet area smelled strongly of urine. You can use the washing machine and dryer on the 4th floor and check their status on the room TV. There’s a gym on that floor too, though it has limited equipment. Breakfast choices are limited but standard for a hotel. I’d recommend staying here.

For business, the convenience and value are good, and for local culture, the Liwan District setting is a real draw. Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is an easy walk, with historic arcade buildings, photo spots, and plenty of local Cantonese food around. The Shangxiajiu Guangzhou hotel is clean and well maintained, with a youthful but cozy design that made the stay comfortable. Highly recommended for experiencing the area.

They kindly helped with my luggage when I checked out. The room was quite comfortable, and breakfast had an excellent range of choices. The hotel is well located, close to the nearby subway station.
