The hotel is new, but the LED light by the bed was broken, and the gym only had a treadmill and a bike trainer. I also couldn't use the free WiFi, despite connecting. On the plus side, the self-service washer and dryer were free. Still, I won't stay with this chain again. There were several problems with the room and service. Housekeeping didn't refill the body wash, clean the cups, or make the bed properly. A guest smoked at the lift lobby right in front of a no-smoking sign, and I couldn't get anything done about it despite the law against smoking in hotels. Even worse, reception staff said smoking inside the room was OK, although there was a no-smoking sign there too. The hotel, ECharm Jinlong Rd Guangzhou, wasn't listed on Google Maps.
