The staff were excellent, and the rooms were great, with comfortable beds and the toiletries you need. The hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the airport, so it works well for an overnight layover. Make use of the free hotel shuttle.

The Fairfield runs an hourly airport shuttle that was very reliable, so getting to and from the terminal wasn’t a problem. We’d stay here again when transiting through Guangzhou. My family and I spent one night here on our way to Europe. The rooms were well equipped and spotless, and the front desk staff were professional and very helpful. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a great buffet, though there weren’t many Western choices and the food was local. There’s little within walking distance apart from a couple of handy convenience stores.

The service was professional and welcoming, and the room was clean with amenities that matched the price we booked. This Marriott hotel is close to the airport, with a shuttle between the hotel and both T1 and T2. It was pretty quiet, apart from hearing a few planes. There are some food and coffee shops nearby if you want them.

The robes, slippers, and other amenities were great, and we really liked our room. The front desk staff were kind and welcoming. This is quite unlike a Fairfield in the USA, it’s leaps and bounds better!

Right by Guangzhou airport, so very convenient for transit passengers. Breakfast was good, but the restaurant is closed at both lunch and dinner. There are very few lunch or dinner choices in the lobby.
