It’s pretty good value if you’re travelling on a budget and don’t mind some compromises. The hotel is showing its age, though, and the lobby and corridors need better cleaning and maintenance. The rooms could use better cleaning too. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the train station and convenience stores, and it’s easy to get to. The laundry room was great and fully equipped with everything you’d need. The AC also works really well, which is a must in Guangzhou’s hot weather.

The hotel is far from any stations, though there are corner shops all around it. It has a racist policy and doesn’t accept people from Asian countries. All the rooms are smoking rooms, so if you don’t smoke, they simply come and spray the room. Service wasn’t very good, and nobody speaks any English.
