The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, in line with what I expect from Marriott. But what made my stay especially easy was Sam Gor, the front desk manager. As someone new to Guangzhou, I really appreciated having a fluent English speaker to help with everything. He was attentive, professional, and good at solving problems, always handling requests efficiently and positively. His service was far better than what I’d received at a lot of hotels before. Sam also helped with my luggage and made sure the stay went smoothly. His genuine hospitality, confidence, and attention to detail felt like luxury level service. The whole experience was seamless and enjoyable. Sam is a real asset to the Marriott team, and his care for guests made a big difference. Thank you for the outstanding service.

Breakfast had a decent range, and the passion fruit was really sweet. The hotel’s a little way from the city, but the view was nice. Our room was a good size, clean, modern, and simple. The bathroom was spacious, with no bathtub, and an automatic flushing toilet. There are free washers and dryers on the second floor, though they get used quite a bit. A robot was busy bringing deliveries and food to rooms, which felt pretty advanced. We slept comfortably on the firm bed and big, comfy pillows.

The location is convenient, the hotel is clean and new, and it has everything you’d need. There’s free parking, the staff are very helpful, and the gym is decent. I’d definitely stay here again.
