I only stayed one night in July 2025 after flying into Baiyun Airport, and the short, easy ride over was welcome after a long flight. The hotel’s look made the biggest impression on me. On a rainy evening, lights around the building reflected beautifully on the ground, giving everything an almost cinematic feel. Inside, the lobby is open and artistic, with marble, a striking staircase, and sculptures that make it feel a bit like a gallery. Warm, thoughtfully placed lighting throughout creates a calm upscale mood without going overboard. The architecture is modern, with clean lines and a stylish layout. Even over one night, I could tell they put thought into aesthetics, comfort, and the guest experience. I’d happily stay again on another trip to Guangzhou.

It was an easy walk, about five minutes, from the hotel to the Subway Station, so getting into the City area was simple. We stayed close to Lunar New Year, and the restaurant had lovely festive decorations. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with plenty of options and polite service staff. The room was comfortable as well.

We got upgraded to a lovely suite, and the furnishings felt closer to a Grand Sheraton or Marriott in quality than a Four Points. The hotel is a short way from the city centre, but considerably cheaper than the other options there. Probably one of the best Four Points we’ve stayed at.

Worst hotel and staff ever. Save your money and don’t ruin your trip. Absolutely the worst.
