Four Seasons Guangzhou

We loved this hotel and had such a good time. The city view was wild, the rooms were huge, and the team helped us with everything. We were there with our two year old, and the big room meant we could take baths with a view while he slept. There was a large baby bed, and breakfast and dinner had amazing food options. Room service was good too, and the blackout windows helped us sleep well. A big thank you to April at reception, who was always there to help, and to Helson at breakfast for helping us try the local dishes. Esther at the Japanese restaurant was also wonderful. We loved the food so much we went twice. We’ll definitely be back.

This is just about the hotel lounge, where I stopped for drinks and city views in November, not the hotel itself. The view from up there was great, and the lounge had a nice atmosphere with live music and singing. The drinks were quite pricey, though.

I’ve travelled to over 30 countries, but my stay at Four Seasons Guangzhou affected me more than any other hotel experience. The kindness felt sincere from the moment I arrived, and the whole stay became emotional as well as luxurious. The rooms were immaculate, and the staff’s gentle care made me feel at home despite being far away. Chef April especially stayed in my mind. She cooks with passion, checks on every guest, and puts so much love into her dishes. Her food made me feel cared for, not just satisfied. Matthiwe was an extraordinary waiter too. He treated me with such kindness, respect, and attention that I felt like royalty. It’s rare to meet someone who serves from the heart, and he really does. Thank you to the whole Four Seasons Guangzhou team for these memories. I’ll carry them with me for a long time. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for more than just a hotel, somewhere that truly touches your heart.

Even before we arrived, Four Seasons Guangzhou made us feel looked after. A week ahead of our trip, Sue. Eva patiently helped with room arrangements and details, always warm and reassuring. That gave us a sense of calm before we’d even checked in. The person who made the biggest difference was concierge Alex (Alexi). He helped plan our Guangzhou and Zhuhai itinerary, suggested eateries we would never have found ourselves, and arranged tickets for Chimelong Safari Park, Chimelong Circus, and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. He even went to the Chimelong Safari counter on his day off to check our tickets and secure the best interactive seats he could for our family. Those seats made the experience for our children, with all the closeness, excitement, and laughter becoming a highlight of the trip. Alex even paid in advance on our behalf to help everything go smoothly. We have never had that kind of ownership and sincerity, even at other five-star hotels. The care carried on throughout the stay. The concierge team helped with our daily plans and questions, and the front desk ladies were accommodating and kind. Each day, housekeeping left handwritten notes on our table. Those little messages made our day and showed someone had thought of us. Sue.Eva also surprised us by decorating the room for our 13th wedding anniversary. The thoughtful touches and effort to celebrate us as a family moved us deeply. It wasn’t just one person or department. Everyone we met showed care, pride, and kindness, and the service felt human and personal. Four Seasons Guangzhou felt like somewhere people truly care, and somehow like home even though we were far away. We hope Alex, Eva, Ana, and the whole team get the recognition they deserve. Their kindness left a lasting mark on our family, and we’ll never forget this stay.
